Individual Log - Prem

The majority of this week was spent designing and assembling the valve enclosure. Apart from the entrance and top, the individual panels have been secured with epoxy and sealed with caulking. The electronics will be isolated from the valve assembly via an internal separator, with all wires running through a centrally sealed grommet to maintain water protection. This separator is also sealed on both sides using caulking to create a double barrier for water intrusion.

The logic controller was also modified to have direct leads going into MCU instead of plugs because the wires were becoming cluttered with all of the added sensors. During group testing, it was discovered that the leak sensor malfunctions when connected to the MCU, so diagnostics was performed, and an optocoupler was ordered (will be received today) to isolate these two circuits.
