Individual Log - Zach

Efforts were put into finalization of the thermostat assembly and other non-technical aspects surrounding this portion of the project. On Monday, an expense report was prepared that includes both the actual expenses incurred throughout the project, as well the required amount of expense one must incur to build the thermostat. The following day, final revisions were made to the thermostat enclosure in OnShape to include additional mounting locations for the AC/DC converter, buzzer, and other adjustments as needed. A final 3D print was run for the thermostat, all mounting locations were inspected and verified for their accuracy, and the thermostat was assembled.

After assembling the Thermostat prototype, tests were performed using LightBlue to verify that all components and systems operated as intended. Below are is an image of the default display a user will encounter on while using the Smart Water Faucet, and videos showing some of the warnings.

To aid Prem in the editing and finalization of other non-technical aspects of the project, each group member provided individual weekly contributions to the final weekly timeline and adjusted the GANTT chart where it pertains to specific members.

To close out the week, a software flowchart was prepared to illustrate how the Thermostat works and receive Prof. Young's feedback on June 26th; and a template for the "installation & operation manual" was created.
