Group Log

The group met to work together on Wednesday. Zach and Conner successfully passed data to and from the MCUs directly using the control on the thermostat. Further action needs to take place to actively pass information from the valve to the thermostat rather than preset values.

Prem and Conner worked to test the MCUs output to the logic controller with the updates that Prem has made. An option to change the duty cycle of the valves was presented and the software needs to be updated to include another output to the logic controller.

The above picture shows the MCU connected to the logic controller during testing. The current setup only has one digital input to the logic controller and that was used to test the duty cycle adjustment input. Upon testing, the inputs successfully activated the valves and increased the speed at which they closed.
