Week 2: May 15th - May 21st

The week began with revisions to code for text displayed on the LCD screen, reducing the needed lines for implementation. Using the limits of the potentiometer and the variable, set_temp, an alert system was created that would display a warning message and chime alert indicating either a scald risk or depleted battery.

Efforts later in the week focused on backlight control and buzzer usage. Currently a startup sequence and screen saver are in development for next week.
